Eligibility requirements: Applicant must be a Native American or Eskimo and a U.S. citizen living in Alaska. Grant is for use in freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior year but is not renewable. Must be enrolled or about to enroll in a two year or four year college, university or technical institution.

Eligibilty Requirements:Applicant must be accepted or enrolled in a seminar or conference that is accredited, authorized, or approved by the CIRI Foundation. May reapply each quarter until grant cap is reached. Must be Alaska Native Student, CIRI original enrollee, or descendant. Award is intended to encourage applicants in perpetuating and transmitting the visual, literary, and performing arts of Alaska's first people.

Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must already be enrolled or be expecting to enroll part-time at a two year or four year college, technical school, or university and must have a 2.5 GPA or higher. This grant, up to $3,000.00, is awarded for use in freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior, graduate or post graduate, years and is not renewable.

OURS Discovery Grants

Eligibility Requirements: Discovery Grants contribute support to ongoing undergraduates research and creative projects. These grants can be used to support projects that require additional funding, above and beyond the current sources, to support travel to present research findings at conference or seminars. Students must be admitted to UAA as an undergraduate degree-seeking student.

Eligibility Requirements: The Office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarship offers several Undergraduate Research Grants each year to support undegraduate students. Students must be accepted in an associate or baccalaureate degree program at the UAA, ans must be enrolled in at least three credits each semester fo the duration of the research. Students in all disciplines are encouraged to apply.
