Eligibility Requirements: Fellowships and career opportunity grants are open to professional artist who are residents of Minnesota. Amount of grant is $500-$1500. Grants may not be used for support of tuition or work toward any degree.


Minnesota Educational Assistance For War Orphans

Eligibility Requirements: War orphans may qualify for $750 per year. Must have lost parent through service-related death. Children of deceased veterans may qualify for free tuition at State university, college, vocational, or technical schools, but not at University of Minnesota. Grant for use in freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior years.

Eligibility Requirements: One-time $750 stipend given to veterans who have used up all other federal funds, yet have time remaining on their delimiting period. Applicant must be a Minnesota resident and must be attending a Minnesota college or university. Grant for use in freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior years.

Eligibility Requirements: Grants available to Minnesota students of color who attend Minnesota posrsecondary institutions. Students must be willing to provide a minimun of 50 hours of service each year ther accept a grant. This service is focused to k-8th grade chidren of color and encourages the youngsters to value learning and education.
