Eligibility Requirements: Grant intended for scholars at any level who demonstrate compelling need to use materials in Getty Research Library.Applicants must be at least 80 or more miles away from Getty Center. Grant only supports one research trip to Getty Center. Applicant must be enrolled in an institution of university; studying in California and must have an interest in art.

Must have financial need and be making satisfactory progress. Must be taking coursework necessary for a child development permit at the teacher, master teacher, site superviser, or program director level.

Course length must bew 4 months and no longer than 24 months. Students must be attending an approved California institution and show financial need.
