Grants up to $2,500.00 for projects relating to literacy. For use in freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, gruaduate or postgraduate years, and is not renewable.

Eligibility Requirements:
Applicant must be enrolled or expecting to enroll full-time at a two-year or four-year or technical institution or university. Applicant must be a resident of Louisiana and studying in Louisiana. Applicant or applicants parent must meet one or more of the following requirements: general military experience; retired from active duty; disabled or killed as a result of military service; prisoner of war or missing in action. Grant awarded for use in freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, graduate or postgraduate years and is renewable. The number of awards and the amounts of the awards vary.

Eligibility Requirements: Grant for those Louisiana residents who have substantial financial needs and are enrolled as full-time undergraduate students. Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen who has earned at least a 2.0 GPA in high school or minimum average score of 45 on the GED, Grants range from $600.00 to $2000.00 per year and may be renewed if participant meets all eligibility requirements and maintains a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
