Eligibility Requirements: Award for high school seniors of Mississippi. Applicants must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 after a minimum of seven semesters in high school and must have scored 29 on the ACT.

Mississippi Resident Tuition Assistsance Grants

Eligibility Requirements: Open to legal Mississippi residents who are reciving a less than full federal Pell Grant for college. High School seniors must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher and either an ACT score of 15 or higher or an equivalent score on the SAT. All applicants must be attending or planning to attend a 2-year or 4-year public or private accredited college or university in Mississippi.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants awards are given to undergraduate students demonstrating financial need. Federal Pell Grant awards recipient recieve priority for FSEOG awards. Depending on when you apply, your financial need, the funding level of your school you are attending, and the policies of your school's financial aid office will determine how much you receive.

Federal Pell Grants are the largest source of ''gift aid'' awarded to undergraduate students and are based on financial need. How much you get dependes on your expected family contribution, your cost of attendence, whether your a full-time or part-time student, and whether you attend school for a full year or less. You may recieve only one Pell Grant in an award year, and you may not recieve Pell Grant funds from more than one school at a time.

Eligibility Requirements: The Federal Work-Study Program provides jobs for undergraduate and graduate students with financial need, allowing you to earn money to help pay education expenses. The program encourages community service work and tries to offer work related to your course of study. Each school has work-study programs specific to that particular school. Some of you may be eligible to begin upon enrollment and others of you may have to wait until you have obtained a certain amount of credits.
