Eligibility Requirements:
Open to South Carolina residents who are either entering freshman who rank in upper 75% of high school class or score 900 on SAT, or those who are upperclassman who pass 24 credit hours annually. Must demonstrate financial need and be pursuing their first bachelors degree at independent South Carolina-based accredited colleges.

Eligibility Requirements: For undergraduate study at a 2-year or 4-year institution. Designated institutions: South Carolina public and independent institutions. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in South Carolina. Applicant must demonstrate financial need. Must enroll in at least 12 credit houres per semester if full-time or six credit hours per semester if part-time.

Eligibility Requirements: Open to students at a 2-year public and private colleges and technical schools in South Carolina who meet the qualifications of financial need as established by the financial aid office at the institution they are attending. Eligibility Requirements: Open to children of wartime veterans who were legal residents of South Carolina both at the time of entry into military or naval service, or who have been residents of South Carolina for at least one year. The veteran's child must be twenty six years of age or younger and working on an undergraduate degree.

Eligibility Requirements: Federal Pell Grants are the largest source of ''gift aid'' awarded to undergraduate students and are based on financial need. How much you get depends on your expected family contribution, your cost of attendence, whether you are a full-time or part-time student, and whether you attend school for a full year or less. You may receive only one Pell Grant in an award year, and you may not receive Pell Grant funds from more than one school at a time.
